This has been the summer of a lifetime, who would have thought that what Hannah and I deemed as the 'summer of yes' would turn out to be so fantastic. From meeting so many great new friends to all of the exciting things we got to do, it has been the best summer yet. Saying yes has been the key, spontaneity is imperative; sometimes you just have to fly by the seat of your pants and see where that takes you. Work a little less, play a little more :)
I experienced a number of new things including a new-found love for Boulder, ultimately discovering where I belong. As I wrap things up here for my nearing trip to Prague I've been reflecting on who I am and what my purpose in life is and I've concluded that I don't care where I end up, I just want to experience all the things that this world has to offer. Too often do I hear people talking about how miserable they are in summer school or how they just worked the summer away, that is surely not how I plan to live out my life; we have our whole lives ahead of us to work and be miserable, why start now? So I'll graduate a semester late, but did I spend every hour studying and busting my butt to graduate on time to have no job....? Nope. Here's to having the time of my life in Europe and savoring every second of it!
